New URL and stuff

Heya! Today I decided to change the url, which is now:  http://anixhoney.blogspot.com !
I made a dump blog with the old URL aka http://lesoundofrain.blogspot.com and made it redirect here, so no problemos! I would appriciate it though if you could update your bookmarks (if you have bookmarked me) so I can delete the dump blog at some point. But not going to delete it any time soon, I will let it sit as long as people come to this blog through that dump blog.

I also put those cute social media buttons in the sidebar, be sure to check them out and follow maybe? ;---)

The biggest changes are done now, might do some little tweaks here and there, but now I can again just focus on the actual blogging yay!

Dem changes

Hey guys! You maybe have noticed that I have changed my blogs name. I somehow just got fed up with the name "The Sound of Rain" as I didn't feel it really described me or this blog after all. So I came up with the name "Anihoney", which describes me and this blog pretty well.

Ani comes from my name Anni and it is close to the word any, which describes this blog pretty well, because I can't pin point exactly what this blog is (like beauty, fashion, life style, etc) and is more of a mix of everything I like.

Then the honey part is just because I like to put honey in almost everywhere you can and I love it. As a combination Anihoney has a nice sound to it I think and it's more memorable than "The Sound of Rain" and it is more usable in social media for example. "The Sound of Rain" was also kind of gloomy and somehow restricting to me when making tha layout (because I like things to match) and Anihoney is more light-hearted and doesn't give any strong ideas kind of like yeah. Okay maybe I'll stop comparing these two for now lol.

Also I'm going to make a few changes to the layout, so don't pay a lot of attention to that lol. I actually have made some changes like changing the fonts, but yeah. Maybe add a about me and about blog sitethingys and maybe some others. Just some minor stuff!

What comes to the domain, I think I'm going to change it in a week or so. I didn't want to change it straight away, without making a post about it first. Try to cope with the possible hassle!

Catch up and stuff

Hello hello! There has been some quiet time again here, I'm sorry. But I will break the silence (again) with a life update. The reason for me doing a life update every time is because I want you guys to know why and what I have been doing.

I personally dislike it when bloggers have a sudden hiatus with out telling beforehand and then they come back and be like "Hey I had a hiatus, sorry! Had a lot things going on." and then continue blogging like nothing happened. Okay, I understand that life doesn't always go as planned and shit happens. I don't mean they should tell about all their personal stuffs in their blog, but still you could tell something you have been doing, even briefly. Not telling anything about it makes me as a reader feel unimportant and it sometimes makes me want to unfollow a blog. Feels like they are only apologizing for the sake of appearance and not honestly. Of course, bloggers who don't share even tiny bits of their life in their blogposts are forgiven. Where did this rant come from waaahhh.

So since my last post I have visited my sisters (and her boyfriends) and spent a weekend there few weeks ago (with my boyfriend) and we went to eat out (forgot to take pictures of my food, I'm a bad blogger lol) and see my favorite Finnish bands' Happoradio's gig!

The gig was their first gig of their new album release tour and the first gig after they had a hiatus, so it was pretty awesome. I also got Mr. Aki Tykki's autograph after the gig, wohoo! Here is my favorite songs from their newest album:

They also have too many good older songs, so I really recommend checking them out in Youtube or Spotify or something!

I had a week long holiday and visited my dads and spent 5 days there. I didn't do much there, just hang around, visited grandparents and read for the entrance exam.



This week I have been just going to work and reading like crazy! I have received my cosmetics orders and going to post about them soon. I'm also going to change the layout a little bit and maybe change the blogs name.

Words don't always come easy.

Yoh! I decided to do a blog again for my own nasty pleasure. I wan't to keep up with myself, my taste, my style and my wants. They change too often and I forget cool things too often. :D
Yess, the blog name is straight from the B.A.P's song, though it's clumsily translated as "Rain sound" in Youtube. I'm a proud, hardcore BABY. ;)

Yeah soo.. Last time I had a blog, my expectations were too high. No, I didn't expect to have 10000 readers from the day one or to have my email full of sponsor emails. :D I had too high expectations on myself and my skills and I also wanted my blog to be "perfect". I wanted to post at least once a week. I wanted my layout to be supercool, hq and look like me or smth. I wanted my posts to be entertaining and interesting and not too plain, short, boring or whatever a bad blogpost is. After a few weeks I lost my interest in the whole thing and thought that well, maybe this isn't for me. That was approx a year ago.

Now I'm much more wiser. This time I'm going to write in English and when I feel like it. When I got something to write. I'm also going to be more laid back with this and not take this too seriously, maybe not seriously at all. :D

Anyways I'm going to give this hassle a shot. Time will show if this really is for me or not. Lets hope for the best, aight? ;)
