Review: Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil

Heya peeps! Today I'm going to review Innisfrees Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil, which I bought from HonestSkin for $9.52 when they had 30% off from all products. You can check out my haul and shop review here. On to the review!

innisfree apple juicy cleansing oil review

Description: This deep cleansing oil offers softness and healthy radiance to your skin like a freshly washed apple.

innisfree apple juicy cleansing oil review
I wish I could return this bottle to Innisfree. Somehow I find this text very cute.
How to use: Apply appropriate amount onto dry hands and gently smooth over dry face to dissolve make up. Add water with fingertips and massage to remove make up. Rinse off with lukewarm water afterwards.

Packaging: It comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser.  It also has a stopper for the pump, so it's very travel friendly as it wont pump itself all around your bag. The design is very simple, nothing extraordinary.

innisfree apple juicy cleansing oil review

Consistency: The consistency of this is like watery oil. It is very runny and not so thick as one could imagine. It is easy to spread and you really don't need much of it to clean your whole face, one pump is more than enough atleast for me. When you add a little bit of water on it, it transforms in to a milkey white liquid emulsion.

Smell: It smells like fresh green apples with the sourness, which makes the scent even better. It doesn't smell too artifical and it's not too strong. I love it.

My Experience: It cleanses my make up off pretty well. Eyeliner, eyeshadow, brow mascara, BB-cream, make up base and concealer washes off perfectly. Only thing it doesn't clean off too well is my mascara, but it might be my technique and impatience that causes that. I'm planning on getting the eye & lip make up remover from the same line to take off the left over mascara.

One big big plus is that it doesn't sting my eyes at all, just makes my vision a bit blurry if a bigger amount gets into my eye, but it is easy to fix it with going through the lower waterline with a Q-tip. Cleansing my face with this doesn't even require intense rubbing and my fingers just glide on my face. I sometimes like to give myself a small face massage while cleansing my face with this.

This is also very easy to wash off, unlike you one would imagine, as it is oil. It also doesn't leave your face oily or sticky or anything, just smooth and clean.

I just recently went to my fathers for a weekend and forgot to take this with me and it was horrible. Removing my make up with anything else than this sucked so bad. I think I can't live without this anymore and I don't understand how I ever could live without this.

The Summary: I really like this product. It does what it promises and works for me perfectly. As this is my first korean cleansing oil, I'm going to try other cleansing oils, but this is a strong contestant and I'm probably going to return to this after my adventures.

Review: Ing's Essence Mask Pack Arbutin

Heyoo ! Today I'm going to do my first proper sheetmask review. Very exciting. The mask I'm reviewing is Ing's Essence Mask Pack in Arbutin. I bought this from Tester Korea a long while ago and this only cost 500 won (the main reason I bought this lol). Back then didn't find any reviews, so I decided that someday I will review this. So here we are!

Untitled

Description: With fresh and non-sticky feel, the Essential Serum lessens skin sensitivity, protects from harmful enivorments or social stress and gives vitality. Abundant humectants and hysiological additives control rough skin to be smooth and calm. Also various Botanical Extracts with Vitamins soothe the loose or irritated skin from irradiation, prohibit inflammation and so make bright, elastic and even. Without any reverse action, absorbed deep into the skin with good compatibility, sustains the physiological homeostasis.

The package also lists the main ingredients which are: Arbutin, mPanax, Ginseng root extract, Ginkgo extract, Dipotassium glycyrrhizate, Woogon extract, Sodium hyaluronate, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Allantoin.

How to use:
After cleansing and washing, apply the maque sheet onto the facial skin evenly and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Then take off it and pat or massage softly.

Packaging: Well, the packaging design is very old and low-quality looking. The woman creeps me. She looks like the start of 2000. Might be the eyebrows. Otherwise it's just the basic facemask pouch, nothing to see here.

Consistency: I'd say the serum in this is in a scale from watery - medium - thick, in between watery and medium. Yiss. It wasn't sticky at all.

Scent: Actually I'm not sure about the scent, but it was not strong and quite pleasant.

My Experience: As almost always, this didn't fit my face too well and it was too big and the nose part was too small and the eyeholes were too small, so I had to rip them a little to make them fit. I really was going to take a pic of it on my face, but it looked overly stupid, so I decided to skip it haha.

Anyway, it moisturized my face nicely and calmed my skin, which was a little irritated for an unknown reason. My skin was pretty smooth and bright afterwards. Don't know if it was elastic. O.o

The Summary:  The mask fit my face poorly, as sheetmasks always. It did almost everything it claimed and I didn't experience any irritations or break outs. I think this is great for it's price and I'm considering buying a few of the other variations.

Review: Nature Republic Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack

Heeeyoooo ! This time I'm reviewing Nature Republics Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack. I bought it from Honest Skin for $4.06, you can check out my haul and review post here.

Untitled

Description: With delicate scent of lavender and the burst of water drops on the skin, it provides moisture and nutrition while sleeping by minimizing stickiness and oiliness and maximizing the moisturizing level to make fresh and moist skin in the next morning.

How to use: After cleansing face and using skin-toner in the evening, apply a suitable amount evenly on the face except the eye area and leave it while sleeping. Wash off lightly with water in the next morning.

Untitled

Packaging: The product comes in a basic soft plastic tube. It is very easy to dispense the wanted amount and some may like it because it is hygienic. I don't care that much for the hygience matters, for I always use my products with clean hands.

Consistency: It has a cream-like consitency and it goes kind of watery when spread. That makes the spreading very easy and smooth. Also only a small amount of it is needed for the whole face, even though I usually like to apply more than enough lol.

Smell: It doesn't smell much like lavender to me, but more like some medical cream. The scent is very fresh and not too strong. It is somehow pretty soothing too, but maybe thats because my brain has associated that scent to going to sleep soon.

My Experience: This feels so good on my skin! It has a cooling effect, which feels awesome after a long day. It also feels moisturizing immediately.

I use this about two to four times a week, depending on my skins condition. I actually used this every night for over a week at some point and my skin could take it and didn't break out, which is a plus. This is very moisturizing, but doesn't make my combination skin oilier. My skin is so soft, smooth, even and healthy looking the next morning.

The Summary: I really like this sleeping pack, but as this is only the second sleeping pack I have ever tried (the first is Holika Holikas Honey sleeping pack in canola, as I had a sample of it and now considering to purchase the full product) I'm wanting to try out other sleeping packs with other features and also this is such a huge amount to use up, considering I don't use it every night, so I think I wont need to repurchase anytime soon and probably wont even in the distant future. But that doesn't make me like this product any less!

Review: Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum

Hey you all! I'm back once again with a review! Today I'm going to review Skinfoods Peach Sake Pore Serum. I paid $8.03 for this, for I bought this from HonestSkin and they had a -30% sale. If you haven't already, you can check out my haul and review here.
Untitled
Description: A smooth serum that eliminates shine from enlarged pores and excessive sebum production with finest sake and peach extracts.

How to use: After lotion, apply gently and cover face with hands, for deep absorption.
Untitled
Untitled
Packaging: The product is in a frosted glass bottle with a cute imitation wood like cap. It has a pump dispenser which pumps out just the perfect amount for my face. I also love the design of this, the peaches are so cool. Only con is the comic sans...

Consistency: The texture is quite light, creamy-like and easy to spread. It "absorbs" pretty well, leaving my face with a soft, matte feel.

Untitled

Smell: The smell reminds me of some fruity/peachy drink or something. It smells like a slightly artifical sweet peach and maybe a little bit of alcohol ? I love the smell of peach in general, but this doesn't smell that good to me.

My Experience:  I have been using this for a month now and I think it is safe to say that this doesn't do much for me. My pores appear smaller, but I'm not sure if it's because of this product or the Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner. (Reviewed here!) What comes to the shine, my face is okay for the day, not too oily, but at the evening I suddenly notice my skin is super duper oily, like oilier than normally. So it kind of eliminates shine, but doesn't seem to do anything to balance the oil production.

The Summary: This serum is okay. I still have about a half of it left so I'll continue using it, just to be sure it really does nothing. I don't think I will repurchase.

Review: Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 500ml

Hey guys! Today I'll be reviewing Etude House's Wonder Pore Freshner in the bigger version, which contains 500ml of product. There are a difference in packaging between the smaller version and this, but I'll talk more about it later in this post. I paid $8.57 for this, thanks to HonestSkins -30% sale last month, you can check out my haul and review here. On to the review!

Untitled
Untitled

Description: This product is total solution for pore care, preventing enlarged pores, less firmer skin and skin troubles by eliminating what hurts skin health from within.

7 in 1 Total Pore Solution
  • Deep cleanse pores
  • Control sebum
  • Keep the ideal pH balance 4.5
  • Tighten pores
  • Brighten skin tone
  • Prevent enlarging of pores
  • Prevent skin troubles
Excuse me, but I have to comment on this a little bit here... Soo skin firmness is sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad? What the hell Korean cosmetic companies? For example I have a few sheetmasks, which say that they will make your skin firmer? And this one makes your skin less firmer? Confused.

How to use: Soak the make up cotton with the Freshner and wipe your face from the center of your face to the outside. With gentle patting, let the skin absorb the leftover Freshner. You can carry the Freshner in a mist type container and apply onto your skin when there is too much sebum or you have itchy feeling.
Btw, am I the only one who has the urge to write Freshener instead of Freshner?

Untitled
Untitled

Packaging: As I mentioned before, this is the bigger version containing 500ml of product. The bottle is plastic and it has a pump dispenser with a cup-like thing, where you put your cotton swab/ball and push. Pretty handy, I think. It gives you a nice amount at one pump, but sometimes it just feels like its not enough and two pumps feels too much. Meh. Sometimes when pumping it somehow squirts and I have never actually seen where it comes from but it happens, even though I have my cotton swab covering the whole cup-like thing. A little bit confusing and disturbing, but I can live with it. I actually got this bigger version because of the dispenser, the smaller version containing 250ml doesn't have it. The dispenser is very handy and you don't have to lift the bottle and accidentally spill it all over or anything and you don't have to worry about accidentally getting too much of it.

Untitled

Consistency: Well it is watery and very liquid, just like toners normally or atleast like western toners.

Smell: It smells faintly like alcohol, but not too much. I can barely smell it.

My Experience: I can't say for sure how effective this has been alone, for I started using Skinfoods Peach Sake Pore Serum (reviewed here!) around the same time. My pores really do appear smaller and the oil production of my face has lessened, but the baddest oily area aka my nose still likes to go oily, but I'm okay with it. I can't measure the pH of my skin, I can't say anything about the pH "correcting" claim. I don't know much about the moisturizing, but this makes my skin feel less tight after cleansing. My skintone has actually gotten more even, but I can't say for sure that it is solely because of this stuff. It doesn't feel too harsh on my combination skin and it doesn't irritate or anything.
Random thought! What if the moisturizing part means that it doesn't dry out your skin, even though it contains alcohol? Yes, this contains alcohol, beware.

The Summary:  As a toner, this does it's job in any left over dirt from cleansing and it really feels like it balances my skin after cleansing. Sounds a bit cray cray, but no can do.
I think I will repurchase, if I don't come across anything more interesting. After all 500ml is a lot, so I think it will last me a long time. It also is pretty cheap, so why not!

So that is about it for now, buh bye

Beauty Haul & Review: HonestSkin

Hello! I got my order from HonestSkin last week and here is the review, as I promised.

I placed the order in the evening of 4.3. and I received an email stating that my order has been shipped on 7.3. According to my calculation, it took 3 days for them to ship it, even though their site says that they ship your package in 2 days after your payment has been confirmed. I paid through PayPal so it shouldn't take a day to confirm it, eh?

The shipping method I "chose" was registered airmail, because I really can't afford EMS or DHL and I don't mind waiting for a few weeks to receive my order. Actually you don't need to choose the shipping method, the registered airmail is the default, but if you want your package to be sent by EMS or DHL, you have to add the EMS/DHL into your cart like you normally add a product. Sounds a little confusing maybe, but there are instructions on the site.

The shipping fee is calculated by the number of products you purchase, not by the weight of the products. It's great when you're ordering a bunch of heavy products, but not so great if the products are light. In another words, perfect for ordering a bunch of skincare products!  For example if I ordered the same products from TesterKorea, the shipping would have been about $14, which is $5 more than the HonestSkins $9 shipping. As I have stated before, I am poor, so even $5 matters to me!

I received my package on 21.3. so the shipping time was about two weeks, even though the evil Finnish Customs snatched my package. The package was marked as a gift and the value was also marked lower than it actually was, but I think the big size of the package caught the attention of the customs or then it was just bad luck. I paid the taxes, because I'm a responsible citizen and I think the Members of the Finnish Parliament may need some new nap blankets.

HonestSkin package
The package was indeed quite big.

HonestSkin package, side
Here is you can see that it was indeed marked as gift and value was marked as 14 dollars, even though I paid 44 dollars including the $9 shipping.

Untitled
Freshly opened package containing shitloads of bubblewrap.

Untitled
Every product was wrapped in bubblewrap.

Untitled
The whole amount of bubblewrap.

Before moving on to the products I got, I will wrap up the shop review.

The shipping was quite fast overall, if you exclude the extra few days my package spent in the Finnish customs. The goods were securely packaged and in theory the package could have evaded the customs. The site was fairly easy to use, only con is that most products didn't/don't have any description, so you have to use google a lot if you're looking at products you are not familiar with. Apparently the site is quite new though, so adding the descriptions might be in process. Another con is that I didn't recieve any samples and that always makes me sad, because samples ♥ But they might start giving samples later on, we'll see.

Summa summarum: I think I will start ordering my skincare products from HonestSkin if I need to order a bunch of them, for the shipping fee calculating system is perfect for that. Based on this experience, I recommend trying them out.

Untitled
So! Here is what I purchased:
Nature Republic Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack
Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil
Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 500ml
Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum
Holika Holika Egg Soap in White

I really have wanted to try out sleeping packs for a while, but I have only received one sleeping pack sample so far and I haven't found too many sleeping pack samples to purchase that would fit my combination skin, so I ended up purchasing Nature Republics Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack. I didn't find many reviews about this so I think that I will be reviewing this at some point.

The cleansing oil is also a new product for me, for I have used facial wipes so far to remove my makeup, but I really wanted to try out the double cleansing method.

I haven't used a toner in a while, for I thought for a long time that it is not necessary, but after reading about it I learned that it really is important, as long as it has the right properties.

The serum is also partly a new addition to my routine, I have tried out some essence and serum samples, but I have never owned a full-sized product.

The egg soap is something that I know many people don't like, for they are unhygienic. I think being too hygienic will make your skin more vulnerable to all sorts of bacteria. I think being over hygienic in general is bad, considering your immune system may get weaker and all. Even bad bacteria can be good in the long run. Does that even make any sense? Also note that I'm not an expert, just sharing what I think and know. I'm just a person and might be wrong. ^^

Review : Tony Moly Changing U Magic Foot Peeling Shoes

Helloo! Here is an review from the start of January, I didn't have enough time to finish this review then, but now I did ! I'm sorry for this review-spree, I didn't plan this ahead! I promise this is the last review for a while!

The product I'm reviewing is Tony Molys Changing U Magic Foot Peeling Shoes. I'm not using the usual form for these, because this product was a real experience for me. My mom also tested these, so I'm including some of her opinions about these as well.
IMG_0741
For starters here is the description and instructions from the package:

"These peeling shoes designed for removing foot calluses help make the rough skin on your foot feel clean and smooth. These peeling shoes contain AHA extract obtained from apples, lemons and grapes, which gently remove excessive calluses from your feet. It also contains aloe vera and rose hip oil, which moisturize and soothe your feet's skin. The active ingredient of spring water helps relax your tired feet."

"1. Put sheets on your feet. 2. Keep both sheets on your feet and wait until your foot skin absorbs the liquid. (it takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours) 3. Take off the sheets and wash your feet until the peeling liquid is thoroughly rinsed away. 4. In 4 to 6 days, the dead cells will naturally start falling off from your feet."

Pretty simple.
IMG_0746
I put the socks on the night between 3rd and 4th of January and had them on for the maximum time, which is an hour and a half. At first the socks smelled like acetone or some cheap hairspray or like a combination of both. Luckily it toned down while I was wearing them. Wierd though, my moms socks didn't smell as bad as mine.
IMG_0749
While I was wearing the socks, I had tingly, cool and warm sensations on my feet and it got me thinking my feet are going to fall off or something.
Well, they didn't fall off, but when I rinsed the liquid from my feet, the water stinged and felt burning hot, even though it was lukewarm.

While unpatiently waiting for my feet skin to start peeling off, I thought that my feet will take forever to start peeling off and then I thought that they will never start peeling off and my feet are retarded. After a long long wait, the skin started peeling off on the 8th of January!! Yeah, about four days is not a long wait and it was just as promised, but it felt like two weeeks!
Here is a picture of my feet on the first day after taking a shower. Warning, the picture is really gross.

My feet in the picture is just the beginning. The skin of my whole sole peeled off little by little, but I didn't remember to take more photos of the process. Anyways, the skin on my feet kept peeling off for total about 2 weeks, but the most rapid peeling happened on the first week. I wore socks almost 24/7 on the first week, otherwise there would have been my feet scraps everywhere. The second week was pretty tame, nothing extraordinary.

So, whats the result? After the peeling stopped, my feet felt really soft and smooth and my calluses were still there, but they were much softer. Maybe if you use these regularly, the calluses will go away? I read somewhere, that it's best to use these once in a month or so. Oh and btw, my feet and my heel are still, a month later, pretty soft.

I don't recommend walking around too much while wearing these, for they are pretty slippery and you have to be careful, that they don't break. They are suprisingly thick and durable feeling though. Also the socks are pretty big, so I believe they will fit most feet sizes! My mom has European size 39 feet and she had plenty of room in the socks.

I really liked these and I already actually repurchased, one pair for myself and one for my mom. Many other brands have these kinds of socks and I'm going to try another brand next time, because I'm curious if there is any difference between them!

To sum it up: They work, a lot of my skin peeled off and my feet got softer but smell a bit bad and my calluses didn't go anywhere.

Review : Etude House Color Lips-Fit in Fantasy Fit Pink (#PK003)

Heyya! I got my TesterKorea order today and I wanted to blog about Etude Houses Color Lips-Fit in PK003 asap! Apparently this color is Sulli's pick, but I didn't know about it until like now haha! Great choize, Sulli. (Pun intended)  I will make a post about the haul later!

Description: "This is a revolutionary liquid type Lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid color and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture."

How to use: I think everyone knows how to use a lip products, but you have to shake this one before use. I think it's rather interesting.

mpIMG_1426
mpIMG_1428
Had some problems with the focus, but no can do!

Packaging: The packaging is very Etude Houseish, simple but still cute. The English text in the package was at the side with a wild pattern, so it was pretty hard to read it.
It has a flat doe foot applicator, which works for me pretty well.

mpIMG_1442

Consistency: The liquid lipstick is indeed liquid. It seems a little bit thin, but it has a lot of pigment, so you don't even need a thick layer of it. The consistency of this reminds me a little of Etude Houses Fresh Cherry liptints, until it dries up. The dried up finish is indeed powdery, like the description says and it made my lips feel very smooth and silky.

bmIMG_1436
bmIMG_1440
One layer in outdoor lighting.

Smell: This liquid lipstick has a very strong fregrance, which reminds me of some cherry candies. The smell is very very sweet and the cherry smell is very artificial. It's even worse than Etude Houses Fresh Cherry liptints! So beware.

My Experience: My lips were in a quite good condition when I applied this, so it was easy to spread evenly. I think it dried my lips a little and I don't think this is good to apply to even a slightly dry lips. This one doesn't stain too much, or atleast I can't see any stain on my lips. Might not be the case with other colors (esp. the bolder ones) or if you have naturally light-colored lips. It stained my hand when I swatched though and it was a bit hard to get the stain off. I have to try this with a lip concealer!

It only lasted for about an hour to half an hour on my lips, but mostly because I was eating popcorn and drinking water almost right after I applied. :'D (To my defense, I was watching the Olympics and there was this very exciting mens hockey game, Finland vs. Russia !! Might as well call us Winland)

The Summary: I think this liquid lipstick is pretty good. It's like a better version of Etude Houses Rosy Tint Lips, a pigmented matte finish, but with an better applicator and consistency!
Repurchase? Yes, I kind of want to try the other colors, but I don't know if I can ever afford to buy more of these haha!

Rating:  4/5 !

Dresslily Review ~

Helllo ~ ! Today I'm going to review Dresslily.com ! I got a package from them about two weeks ago and here is what I got:

dresslilycollage

I love the sweater, it's awesome. Just what I have been looking for a while. I love the details in the print and the kind of worn out stripes are so cool. The fabric is quite thin, so I can wear this at summer too !
I'd say the quality is quite good. No loose threads hanging, but the collar, cuffs and the hem(?) fabric is not doubled. Like usually my all sweaters has this fabric doubled but this doesn't and makes it feel and look abit bad, but maybe it is intended? Dunno!

The faux-leather skirt is very cute, but a bit too short for me. But but I can wear shorts under it to avoid flashing. The quality is good with this one!

The necklace is also awesome and it's a perfect addition to my jewelry collection! ~ It feels sturdy and the spikes are not plastic yaay! Almost every spike necklace that I own is made of plastic and I'm always afraid of accidentally breaking them. >.< I had problems opening and closing the lock at first, but it has kind of loosened now, so it's managable.

The shipping didn't take too long, about a month with a few holidays in between. I don't think it's bad, but then again I'm very patient when it comes to waiting for my stuff to arrive.

I think these thingies go well together so I made an outfit with these!

Sammydress Review & Outfit

IMG_0859

I got a package from Sammydress a few days ago. They let me choose something from their shop and I chose the cardigan above! The shipping time (about a month) was fine, considering it came from China. The quality of the cardigan is very good, no loose threads were hanging when I opened the package. It survived the washing mashine and the material is very soft and not itchy at all. The cardigan is really warm and comfortable, I love it. ♥ You can find it here!
Fyi, I have been eyeing this cardigan for a while and you can find it from my autumn inspiration post in a different color.

Here is my outfit from yesterday with the cardigan!

TesterKorea Haul & Review

Helloo! ~
I ordered some cosmetics from TesterKorea this autumn and decided to share my experience with them.

testerkoreahaul

But first here is what I got:
  • Innisfree Juicy Gloss Pencil in #4 Grapefruit Puree
  • Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream
  • Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation #5 Nails in Princess Marry
  • Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in #2 Sunny Flower
  • Laneige Water Sleeping Pack _EX
  • Etude House Color My Brows in #1 Rich Brown
  • Ing's Essence Mask Pack Arbutin
  • Innisfree It's Real Mask Sheet Rice
  • Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack
  • Etude House Alphabetical Mask Sheet (A, ♥ and J)
  • A Cookie mirror ~
  • And 3 sample packs, 5 samples in each, total 15 !!

So! When I was ordering from TesterKorea, there was this "Invalid" text next to the shipping methods, so I couldn't choose a shipping method. I deleted my cookies, browser history, tried other browsers (IE </3) and then I finally could select the shipping method, BUT it didn't add the shipping costs to the total. I waited for a few weeks, if TesterKorea could get it work, but no. I emailed them and they told me that I could make a manual order, which nowadays is instructed on the site, if you can't place your order, that is. If you're having problems and can't find it or want to understand better what I just wrote, then go here.

Shipping price is reasonable and depends on the weight of the package.

After I finally placed my order, I waited 2 weeks for my package, which isn't bad me thinks. All the goods were securely wrapped in bubblewrap and inside a nice box. The package was marked as a gift and the value was also a little bit less than it really was. They are really generous with samples, I got total 15 samples! Some of them were the same, but I don't mind.

Pros:
- Samples! ~
- Cheaper than most of the K-cosmetics shops
- Shipping price is reasonable
- Shipping doesn't take forever

Cons:
- Manual order is a bit troublesome, but not everyone has to do it...

I wrote this in a bit of a hurry, so I apologize for any typos, grammar mistakes or wierd phrases. :D
But thats all for now, Merry Christmas everybody ! (In case I don't have time to make a small update tomorrow!)

UPDATE: I got my second order from Tester Korea today (nothing interesting, just some essentials and a few presents) and it took about 2 weeks again to arrive and the package was secure. Only thing that was different: I didn't get any samples this time, boo. :(

Etude House Collagen Moistfull Cream & First Essence review + Ebay seller review

298

Etude House Collagen Moistfull Cream

Description:Formulated with Baobab Leaf Mucus and 30% of hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, this refreshing, yet concentrated moisturizer penetrates deeply to hydrate and firm for a youthful water bouncy skin. 4-Free Formula: No Parabens, Benzophenone, Mineral Oil, Talc.

How to use:
Every day after cleansing and toning, massage evenly over face. Pat to finish.

Consistensy: Even though it's called a cream, it's more like a gel. It is easy to spread and it sort of glides on your skin. A little goes a long way with this one.

299

Smell: The smell is very fresh and it reminds me of the smell of pine trees and spruces, but it's not quite like them. It's a little bit citrusy too. It's not too strong and very pleasant.

Packaging: The jar contains 60ml of product. It is feels sturdy and it looks pretty cute next to my western facial creams. I like the little curve detail in the cap. Only con is that the jar is quite deep, so you need a spatula to get the product easily out. Too bad, that this doesn't include one. My favorite color is orange so I like the color of this very much.

My Experience: I have been using this now for about one and a half months after I wash my face and my skin is not so dry as it used to be. This time of a year, my skin normally gets really dry due the cold weather, but now it's totally normal. It doesn't make my combination skin oilier. This cream moisturizes well and my skin feels moist the next day too.

The Summary: This cream works for me perfectly. It really moisturizes well and I can see and feel the effect! I would and probably will repurchase.

Etude House Collagen Moistfull First Essence

Description: Formulated with 90% of hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, this serum absorbs quickly into skin to provide instant hydrating and firming relief.

How to use:
Apply morning and evening after cleansing, prior to Facial Freshener. Pat to finish.

Consistensy: The products is gel-like, watery and pretty runny. This too is easy to spread and a little goes a long way with this too.

Smell: It's pretty much same as the Collagen Moistfull Cream.

Packaging: The bottle contains 20ml. And umm... I don't have much to say about this. The color is awesome hehe.

My Experience:Before I used this, I had to google how to use an essence. The instructions were a bit poor on the package... Anyways! This moisturizes a little and I'm still not sure what this is supposed to do exactly. It absorbs quickly into my face and it leaves a nice base for the cream and makes it even a little more easier to spread, but thats all.

The Summary: This was a nice introduction to the essences for me, but I don't get the whole idea of it. I wouldn't purchase a full-size product, but I won't run away screaming if this comes with my next Moistfull Collagen Cream.

eBay seller

I bought this from eBay seller named worldmarket201010. The shipping was quite fast, it took only two weeks to arrive. The product was wrapped in bubblewrap and it was securely packaged. I think the item is authentic. I got three samples with it: SKIN79 Super+ BB cream (Hot Pink), Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC-cream & Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer. (I'm pretty excited about the last two btw, I have wanted to try these for a while!) Based on this purchase, I recommend!

Packaging: The jar contains 100g of product and is shaped like a peach
and has an extra lid with a small spoon spatula. I have to admit: I bought this just because of the container! It's just too cute! Peaches <3  I'm planning to use it as a jewerly box or something when I have used all of the product. ~

Consistensy: It is a gel-type product, which is a sort of grainy or something and it kind of rolls up or something when you rub it. It's hard to explain(for me not being a native English speaker), but you can see it from the picture.

Smell: It smells like an artificial peach. It's pretty strong scent imo so it's not for everyone, but I like it. ~

My Experience: According to some sites/reviews, the balls or rolls that come from rubbing are your dead skin cells?? I highly doubt it, because I have a habit of scratching my face when showering and that removes dead skin cells quite alot and the stuff is most of the time gray. Those ball things are pretty much the same whiteish color and IF this gel removes any dead skin cells, it must be fairly a tiny amount. But thats just how I see it. :D

Anyways! Using it is pretty simple, but rubbing is pretty tiring to me, but maybe thats because I rub my face so aggressively haha.

It makes my skin feel very soft and my face look a bit brighter. I didn't notice any difference in my pores. You can still pretty clearly smell the peach scent after use, or I at least I could. :D I have a really sensitive sense of smell.

The Summary: Overall this product is okay to me. The smell is nice aand the result is so-so, so I wouldn't repurchase.

Holika Holika Medi-Medi Magnesium pack review

Hello peeeps ~ !
Today, I'm going to review Holika Holikas Medi-Medi Magnesium pack. I bought mine from RoseRoseShop for 6.32$ There are three different Medi-Medi packs. Vita C pack for brightening, Acetyl pack for acne skin and Magnesium for oily skin.

Holika Holika mask review

Description: Special Prescription for the excessively oily skin type! Magnesium derived from volcanic ashes helps to make a clean and smooth pores by controlling excessive oil and sebum. (from Rose Rose Shop)

What the package says: Enriched with Volcanic Clay. Clean pores and takes care of your skin.

How to use: Apply after washing your face and leave for 10~15 minutes. Wash off the mask. (1~2 times a week)

Smell: Suprisingly, it smells like a typical clay mask. Nothing special.

Packaging: The plastic jar feels a little cheap and I'm abit afraid that when I open it, I'll break it accidentally with my nonexistent strenght. :D The looks are nothing special and reminds me abit of some kind of apothecary product.
The jar has an extra lid, which is good, but it was hard to take it off without getting the product on your fingers. Or maybe I'm just clumsy. ^^

What it looks like on my creepy froggyface:D
My experience: It was easy to spread on the face and I had it on about 15 minutes. It didn't dry in that time, so it was easy to wash off. My skin felt pretty soft and smooth after it and the pores on my nose were a bit smaller or not so dark atleast. I haven't used this on a regular basis, so I don't know if the benefits are greater then.
The Summary: I like this product. It really leaves my skin soft, non-oily and clean. It doesn't need regular use to work, which fits my purpose well. So I would repurchase, but I probably wont. :D I have too many things on my want list!
