Beauty Haul: Rose Rose Shop

Heyaa ! I made an order on Rose Rose Shop quite a while ago, but didn't have time to post about it and I kind of forgot I even made one and well yeah, it's here now.
Rose Rose shop haul 2014
From top left:
Tony Moly Intense Care Eye Mask - Syn-Ake
A'pieu Anti Wrinkle Gel Eye & Lip Patch
Etude House Collagen Eye Patch
It's SKIN Baby Face Magic Tint Bar in No.03 Peach
Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream Bright Fit in W13
It's SKIN Magic Shaping V Mask Sheet
Ciracle Red Spot Cream
Etude House I Need You, A to Z Mask Sheet in Tea Tree, Mango and Pearl
Etude House Black Charcoal Chin Pack
Etude House XOXO Minnie Look At My Eyes Cafe in PK005 Minnie Peach
The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Make Me Trendy Nail Sticker No.03
Samples !
Missha Pure Source Sheet Mask in Pearl
Beyond The God Of Patches Hippopotamus aka Bye Bye to Excess Fat and Seal aka Bye Bye Ugly Neck

My ultimate favorite product from this haul is surely the Ciracle Red Spot Cream. It seriously works, my pimples heals so much faster and the possible scars from a pimples are so unnoticeable! Totally awesome product.

Also my other fave from this haul is one of the samples, A'pieu Pure Block Natural Daily Sun Cream. I was in need for a facial sunscreen and was about to order some samples to test out which would suit my combination skin, which is more on the oily side on the summer. This one worked on me quite well, my skin was as oily as it normally is, maybe even a bit less oily. It didn't irritate, smell bad and the texture is pretty light, not sticky or heavy. I already purchased a full tube of this and have been using this for a few weeks and still happy with it.

I have always been curious about fat reducing cellulite killer miracle products but never actually purchased one before, because they are so expensive. So when I saw Beyonds The God Of Patches Hippopotamus aka Bye Bye to Excess Fat, I just had to buy it. It was only 2.80$ so I couldn't resist. I still haven't tried it, so I could make do a proper review on it. Haven't had my reviewing mood for a while.

So far this haul has contained only one letdown, which is the It's SKIN Baby Face Magic Tint Bar in No.03 Peach. It's not as pigmented as I imagined it would be, the tint is almost nonexistent on me. Atleast it is moisturizing and the packaging is pretty cute.

So yeah. Maybe I will stop rambling and go pack my stuffs, for I'm going to Estonia tomorrow with my wifey♥ Soooo buhbye !

Clothing haul : YesStyle

Hellohello ! I have been shopping like crazy this spring and there seems to be no end to this madness. Today I received three packages, one from Yesstyle, one from Gmarket and one from Rose Rose Shop. I decided to share all my three hauls with you guys and I'm going to start with Yesstyle, to balance the amount of beauty haul posts.

But first, let's have a moment to appriciate this holy trinity here.

So here is what I got:

Sorry for the painfully low quality of these pictures!

As always with Yesstyle, it took such a long time until the goods were shipped. My fab shirt was the cause, as they had difficulties (again) to get it from the retailer(s). Luckily they got it after all. I made the order on 27th of March and these arrived today, 5th of May. Yesstyle has alot of nice clothes with a great price, but it's always annoying to order something and then wait forever for one item and then ending up not even getting it. I'm really glad nothing was missing this time.

Happy materialist is happy. So yeah, thats all for this time! I have lots of posts almost ready, so I can maybe post more frequently. Seeee ya ♥

Beauty Haul & Review: HonestSkin

Hello! I got my order from HonestSkin last week and here is the review, as I promised.

I placed the order in the evening of 4.3. and I received an email stating that my order has been shipped on 7.3. According to my calculation, it took 3 days for them to ship it, even though their site says that they ship your package in 2 days after your payment has been confirmed. I paid through PayPal so it shouldn't take a day to confirm it, eh?

The shipping method I "chose" was registered airmail, because I really can't afford EMS or DHL and I don't mind waiting for a few weeks to receive my order. Actually you don't need to choose the shipping method, the registered airmail is the default, but if you want your package to be sent by EMS or DHL, you have to add the EMS/DHL into your cart like you normally add a product. Sounds a little confusing maybe, but there are instructions on the site.

The shipping fee is calculated by the number of products you purchase, not by the weight of the products. It's great when you're ordering a bunch of heavy products, but not so great if the products are light. In another words, perfect for ordering a bunch of skincare products!  For example if I ordered the same products from TesterKorea, the shipping would have been about $14, which is $5 more than the HonestSkins $9 shipping. As I have stated before, I am poor, so even $5 matters to me!

I received my package on 21.3. so the shipping time was about two weeks, even though the evil Finnish Customs snatched my package. The package was marked as a gift and the value was also marked lower than it actually was, but I think the big size of the package caught the attention of the customs or then it was just bad luck. I paid the taxes, because I'm a responsible citizen and I think the Members of the Finnish Parliament may need some new nap blankets.

HonestSkin package
The package was indeed quite big.

HonestSkin package, side
Here is you can see that it was indeed marked as gift and value was marked as 14 dollars, even though I paid 44 dollars including the $9 shipping.

Freshly opened package containing shitloads of bubblewrap.

Every product was wrapped in bubblewrap.

Untitled
The whole amount of bubblewrap.

Before moving on to the products I got, I will wrap up the shop review.

The shipping was quite fast overall, if you exclude the extra few days my package spent in the Finnish customs. The goods were securely packaged and in theory the package could have evaded the customs. The site was fairly easy to use, only con is that most products didn't/don't have any description, so you have to use google a lot if you're looking at products you are not familiar with. Apparently the site is quite new though, so adding the descriptions might be in process. Another con is that I didn't recieve any samples and that always makes me sad, because samples ♥ But they might start giving samples later on, we'll see.

Summa summarum: I think I will start ordering my skincare products from HonestSkin if I need to order a bunch of them, for the shipping fee calculating system is perfect for that. Based on this experience, I recommend trying them out.

So! Here is what I purchased:
Nature Republic Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack
Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil
Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 500ml
Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum
Holika Holika Egg Soap in White

I really have wanted to try out sleeping packs for a while, but I have only received one sleeping pack sample so far and I haven't found too many sleeping pack samples to purchase that would fit my combination skin, so I ended up purchasing Nature Republics Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack. I didn't find many reviews about this so I think that I will be reviewing this at some point.

The cleansing oil is also a new product for me, for I have used facial wipes so far to remove my makeup, but I really wanted to try out the double cleansing method.

I haven't used a toner in a while, for I thought for a long time that it is not necessary, but after reading about it I learned that it really is important, as long as it has the right properties.

The serum is also partly a new addition to my routine, I have tried out some essence and serum samples, but I have never owned a full-sized product.

The egg soap is something that I know many people don't like, for they are unhygienic. I think being too hygienic will make your skin more vulnerable to all sorts of bacteria. I think being over hygienic in general is bad, considering your immune system may get weaker and all. Even bad bacteria can be good in the long run. Does that even make any sense? Also note that I'm not an expert, just sharing what I think and know. I'm just a person and might be wrong. ^^

Beauty Haul: RoseRoseShop

Heya! I have been online shopping like crazy lately, as you may have noticed. I have mostly ordered cosmetics aand here is what I ordered from RoseRoseShop:

Untitled

Lioele Bubi Bubi Tint Balm No. 1 Tropical Raspberry (Review inc.)
Tony Moly Lovely Peach Hand Mask (Review inc.)
Missha 3D Sheet Mask With Red Ginseng (3-pack)
Etude House Oh My Line in No.03 Oh My Brown and No. 01 Oh My Black
Skinfood Fresh Apple T U Zone Balance Mask Sheet
Missha Pure Source Sheet Masks Lemon and Green Tea (both 3-packs)
And 10 samples ~

I have learned something new about RoseRoseShop since my last order. The new thing (atleast for me) is if you want to receive samples from RoseRoseShop you have to ask for them in their forum or in the message field when you make your order. Makes my view on RoseRoseShop slightly better, because I love samples.

I used to "accidentally" order a lot of stuff from one brand (usually Etude House lol) and didn't look too much into other brands equivalent products. But now, I have started to look just at the products and ignored the brand. I know that is something I should have done from the beginning and is totally logical and normal, but well. It's a huge thing for me! :D

I have to spazz about the Etude Houses eyeliners a little though. They are perfect! They stay on my oily eyelids through the day if I just don't touch my eyes, but I rarely do. Easy to remove and the brush is so easy to work with and also that that it is a brush indeed, back in the days when I started using make up I practised with a brush eyeliner and I honestly suck at lining my eyes with a pen or a felt tip eyeliner.

Also the Liole Bubi Bubi Tint Balm is amazing! So pigmented, moisturizing and the tint stays on very nicely! I think I will have to review it, love it so much.

Okay, maybe I will stop here, so I will have more to say in my other posts and I wont end up repeating myself too much haha!

See ya later ♥

TesterKorea Haul & Review

Helloo! ~
I ordered some cosmetics from TesterKorea this autumn and decided to share my experience with them.

testerkoreahaul

But first here is what I got:
  • Innisfree Juicy Gloss Pencil in #4 Grapefruit Puree
  • Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream
  • Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation #5 Nails in Princess Marry
  • Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in #2 Sunny Flower
  • Laneige Water Sleeping Pack _EX
  • Etude House Color My Brows in #1 Rich Brown
  • Ing's Essence Mask Pack Arbutin
  • Innisfree It's Real Mask Sheet Rice
  • Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack
  • Etude House Alphabetical Mask Sheet (A, ♥ and J)
  • A Cookie mirror ~
  • And 3 sample packs, 5 samples in each, total 15 !!

So! When I was ordering from TesterKorea, there was this "Invalid" text next to the shipping methods, so I couldn't choose a shipping method. I deleted my cookies, browser history, tried other browsers (IE </3) and then I finally could select the shipping method, BUT it didn't add the shipping costs to the total. I waited for a few weeks, if TesterKorea could get it work, but no. I emailed them and they told me that I could make a manual order, which nowadays is instructed on the site, if you can't place your order, that is. If you're having problems and can't find it or want to understand better what I just wrote, then go here.

Shipping price is reasonable and depends on the weight of the package.

After I finally placed my order, I waited 2 weeks for my package, which isn't bad me thinks. All the goods were securely wrapped in bubblewrap and inside a nice box. The package was marked as a gift and the value was also a little bit less than it really was. They are really generous with samples, I got total 15 samples! Some of them were the same, but I don't mind.

Pros:
- Samples! ~
- Cheaper than most of the K-cosmetics shops
- Shipping price is reasonable
- Shipping doesn't take forever

Cons:
- Manual order is a bit troublesome, but not everyone has to do it...

I wrote this in a bit of a hurry, so I apologize for any typos, grammar mistakes or wierd phrases. :D
But thats all for now, Merry Christmas everybody ! (In case I don't have time to make a small update tomorrow!)

UPDATE: I got my second order from Tester Korea today (nothing interesting, just some essentials and a few presents) and it took about 2 weeks again to arrive and the package was secure. Only thing that was different: I didn't get any samples this time, boo. :(

Etude House Collagen Moistfull Cream & First Essence review + Ebay seller review

298

Etude House Collagen Moistfull Cream

Description:Formulated with Baobab Leaf Mucus and 30% of hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, this refreshing, yet concentrated moisturizer penetrates deeply to hydrate and firm for a youthful water bouncy skin. 4-Free Formula: No Parabens, Benzophenone, Mineral Oil, Talc.

How to use:
Every day after cleansing and toning, massage evenly over face. Pat to finish.

Consistensy: Even though it's called a cream, it's more like a gel. It is easy to spread and it sort of glides on your skin. A little goes a long way with this one.

299

Smell: The smell is very fresh and it reminds me of the smell of pine trees and spruces, but it's not quite like them. It's a little bit citrusy too. It's not too strong and very pleasant.

Packaging: The jar contains 60ml of product. It is feels sturdy and it looks pretty cute next to my western facial creams. I like the little curve detail in the cap. Only con is that the jar is quite deep, so you need a spatula to get the product easily out. Too bad, that this doesn't include one. My favorite color is orange so I like the color of this very much.

My Experience: I have been using this now for about one and a half months after I wash my face and my skin is not so dry as it used to be. This time of a year, my skin normally gets really dry due the cold weather, but now it's totally normal. It doesn't make my combination skin oilier. This cream moisturizes well and my skin feels moist the next day too.

The Summary: This cream works for me perfectly. It really moisturizes well and I can see and feel the effect! I would and probably will repurchase.

Rating:  5/5

Etude House Collagen Moistfull First Essence

Description: Formulated with 90% of hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, this serum absorbs quickly into skin to provide instant hydrating and firming relief.

How to use:
Apply morning and evening after cleansing, prior to Facial Freshener. Pat to finish.

Consistensy: The products is gel-like, watery and pretty runny. This too is easy to spread and a little goes a long way with this too.

Smell: It's pretty much same as the Collagen Moistfull Cream.

Packaging: The bottle contains 20ml. And umm... I don't have much to say about this. The color is awesome hehe.

My Experience:Before I used this, I had to google how to use an essence. The instructions were a bit poor on the package... Anyways! This moisturizes a little and I'm still not sure what this is supposed to do exactly. It absorbs quickly into my face and it leaves a nice base for the cream and makes it even a little more easier to spread, but thats all.

The Summary: This was a nice introduction to the essences for me, but I don't get the whole idea of it. I wouldn't purchase a full-size product, but I won't run away screaming if this comes with my next Moistfull Collagen Cream.

Rating:  3/5

eBay seller

I bought this from eBay seller named worldmarket201010. The shipping was quite fast, it took only two weeks to arrive. The product was wrapped in bubblewrap and it was securely packaged. I think the item is authentic. I got three samples with it: SKIN79 Super+ BB cream (Hot Pink), Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC-cream & Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer. (I'm pretty excited about the last two btw, I have wanted to try these for a while!) Based on this purchase, I recommend!

(Not so) Recent finds

Sorry for this small hiatus, I just lost my interest in everything and I couldn't care less about anything and I didn't do anything. I was pretty boring lol.

Anyways bought a few things last month that I forgot to blog about. ^^'

Waxed denim jeans from Members.com ! The "brand" is Nly Trend and I paid 16,50€ for these. The limited-time sale in Members.com is already over, but you can find these jeans from Nelly.com in white. Black is apparently out of stock.

graysweat

Gray sweater from Vero Moda ! (case you didn't notice from the tag:D) I paid about 9,95€ for this if I remember correctly. It's very comfy!

I also bought a light brown messenger bag from Seppälä but I'm too lazy to take pictures of it now.

Whoah, what a useless post. :DDD

March 26, 2013

Kpoptown.com haul !

I made a small order on kpoptown.com a while a go. ^^ The package arrived few weeks ago, but I was too lazy to make a post, until now. So yeah, the shipping was pretty fast, took maybe a week or so for the package to arrive. My goods were very safely packaged and every product was in their own bubble wrap and there were several layers of it. I totally recommend! :)

etudehousefaceshop

I got Look At My Eyes Cafe in BE102 and BE101, Brush Shower Cleaner, Black Charcoal Chin Pack, Green Tea Nose Pack and Ginko Lip Area Patch from Etude House. Plus a sheet mask from The Face Shop which is called Real Nature Mask Sheet Pomegranate! Whoah, Korean cosmetics have really silly and long names!:D

So I haven't tried all of these, but I'll share my thoughts about the ones I have tried! First is the Look At My Eyes Cafe eye shadows from Etude House.

A little praise to Etude House: I think every single time when I use/try a product from Etude House I'm surprised by the quality. Etude House is not a pricey "brand" at all and you could think that their products aren't amazing, just something that you can work with, but seriously the price-quality relationship is great! Not one of their product has been as shitty as some supermarket brands here in Finland!

Now back to the eye shadows! They are pigmented enough, you don't get the perfect covering color at the first stroke but they're very buildable. They last pretty long and the finish is matte and my lids look smooth and somehow silky. I paid 2.23 € a piece so they're not bad at all !

Next up is The Face Shops Real Nature Mask Sheet Pomegranate. First sheet mask and product from the Face shop I have ever used. Before I used this mask my cheeks and nose were very dry and my face was kind of dull looking. The mask felt really refreshing on my face and it really "provided moisturized radiance" to my skin. However the sheet thing didn't fit my face at all. It was too wide, the mouth area was wierd and on next to my nose were these wierd holes, leaving small part of my cheeks non-covered. It might be that my application technique sucked butt and I did it wrong, but it was damn hard to try to move it on my face when it had sort of "taken it's place". Plus to that it did not stick to the non flat parts of my face.
Even though the sheet didn't fit, I would repurchase 'cos of the greatly working stuff on it. ^^

baponeshotalbum

I also bought B.A.P's newest mini album One Shot with my boyfriend. He paid half of it's price and I paid the other half. ^^ The white random thing on the right in the picture is a folded poster! I haven't dared to open it yet. ^^ The album is really worth its price and I like every song on it a lot!

Ebay jewelry haul

I was going to make this post last sunday or in the beginning of the week but I got a flu. Just my luck to plan something for some days and be sick. But now I'm in my full strenght again wohoo! Let's get to the real topic then.

Few weeks ago I got small packages every workday. Felt like a week long christmas. :D You know the saying: package a day keeps the mental doctor away! (said a materialist).

I ordered some jewelry, 'cause I felt like my jewelry box wasn't full enough and just I can't resist cheap things with free shipping. I really should stop online shopping for a while...

ebayjewelry

So here is the whole set! Too bad that the black rose ring doesn't quite look like a rose, more like random black idontknowwhat. I forgot to take closer picture of it.

Some closer pictures (that I remembered to take lol) of my favorites.

ebayrings

I couldn't decide which color I'd like more so I took both. About 1€ per piece so it didn't hurt. ;D I like the rings really much and I realised when they came that they're actually  grasping skeleton hands. ~

ebaytree

I don't know why, but I like this necklace veerrryy much. I like the little details in this, like little birds sitting on the branches and that you really can't tell what the words are on the leaves. Cheesy words on clothes and jewelry usually ruin them for me. I can't stand the overused word LOVE anymore, it's the worst! And the cheesy love lines.

Oh right! I also bought this awesome mint colored shirt!

greenmeshirt

The color is very springish(? whats that word) and I really can't wait for spring/summer so I can wear this.  It's still pretty damn cold here for this. Don't mind the wrinkles on it. :--)
